MA / LPN - Internal Medicine (St. Charles, MO)
New opportunity for an experienced medical assistant who can work in a fast-paced office independently and as a team! Must have strong clinical skills, however, this position does not require a ton of hands-on patient care. Some of the duties will be to call patients with test results, triage patient calls, order DME, take nursing home calls, order tests and assist with patient care. Hours are M-F 8-5:30/6pm. CALLING ALL NURSES! We're seeking experienced cardiology nurses interested in picking up a few days in February and March for vacation coverage and then covering for a 6-week maternity leave in May! Practice experience would be a plus but is not required, however, the Cardiology experience is a MUST! RN must be willing to commit to the entire assignment. Hours are M-F 7:30am-4pm. Duties will be to perform phone triage, scheduling procedures, Protime/Coumadin monitoring, etc. Will also be making hospital rounds with the physician and carrying the nurse phone during this assignment. Medical Assistant (St. Louis & St. Charles counties)
New opportunity for a temporary-to-permanent Medical Assistant to join the team of a large multi-specialty practice. Only those who are certified medical assistants and those who possess over two years of recent clinical experience will be considered. This practice is totally electronic with an EMR system so candidates must be computer savvy. Duties will be to triage patient calls, answer phones, scanning/indexing documents into the electronic chart, extensive data entry, vitals, H&P, chief complaints, prepare lab req., occasional injections (B-12 and FLU) but no phlebotomy. MA will be required to travel to two different satellite offices and mileage between the offices will be reimbursed. Typical hours are M-F 9-5pm with occasional late nights where the MA will be asked to work until 5:30pm on a Thurs and as late as 7pm on a Mon. This practice offers a great benefits package!
